Covid-19 Rules

Dear Guests,

It is with great pleasure that we inform you that Castro Marim Golfe & Country Club obtained the “Clean & Safe” seal, promoted by Turismo de Portugal, IP (National Tourism Authority), which certifies our commitment to the implementation of SARS-Cov-2 prevention, control and surveillance procedures, in accordance with the rules and legal guidelines, safeguarding the well-being of all guests, employees and partners.

For everything to happen in the best possible way, we have introduced some rules that we would like to share now:

CLUBHOUSE: RECEPTIONS AND COMMON SPACES:

– Hand sanitizer is available at the Clubhouse entrance, receptions, concierge and Food & Beverage services for customers to use.
– Adequate signage is available and visible in all spaces of the Resort to facilitate social distance and raise awareness of the mandatory use of a face mask / face shield.
– All employees have personal protective equipment and are properly instructed on the basic measures for the prevention and control of infection and self-monitoring measures.
– The cleaning and disinfection of the various spaces has been reinforced and certified cleaning products that comply with international standards are used.
– An isolation room with the necessary requirements is available at the Clubhouse, and suspected cases of COVID-19 will be guided by the duty manager on duty.
– We have masks and gloves for purchase at the reception, if necessary.


ACCOMMODATION CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT:

– The registration of guests will be carried out, preferably, by digital means before arrival. For this purpose, the accommodation reception services will send the main check-in form to the main guest, where their data and the data of the other members who will occupy the house must be registered.
– It is recommended that payment of the reservation be made in advance by bank transfer or, if preferred by the guest, at check-in, through the ATMs. ATMs, as well as all types of shared equipment, will be cleaned after use.
– Electronic keys will be properly sanitized after each use.
– Whenever possible, it will be chosen to send financial documents digitally.

HOUSEKEEPING VILLAS:

– All employees are equipped with personal protective equipment and are informed of the guidelines for cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, equipment, and treatment of clothing.

– Cleaning of the villas is made with the use of recommended products by the Health Directorate General and the World Health Organization;
– Cleaning of the villas will always take place in the absence of guests.
For this purpose, a contact will be established through the reception to schedule this service.
– To reduce risk, carpets, rugs, decorative pillows, decorative quilts on the existing housing have been removed.

SWIMMING POOL | TROPICAL BAR:

– The capacity of the pool is equivalent to the maximum number of sunbeds installed with a distance of 2 m, and its disposal cannot be changed on any pretext.
– A maximum of 10 people can be inside the pool at the same time, and social distancing rules must be respected.
– Given the dimensions, inside the children’s pool there can only be 2 children simultaneously, and it is necessary to comply with the general rules of social distance of 2m.

– It is mandatory the use of footwear for those who circulate in the pool area.
– The circulation will be done in a single direction, duly indicated.

– It is mandatory to use the shower and foot washer before entering the pool and after going to the toilets.
– It is forbidden to use balls, inflatable buoys or other devices in the pool (except armbands for children).
– The common changing rooms (showers) are closed.
– The Tropical Bar services will operate in the months of July and August, and it is not possible to change the configuration of the terrace and the room.

To minimize the risks, the services of KIDS CLUB, SHUTTLE FOR THE BEACH and GYM are not available.
